1. Before you start

Have these at hand:

How much will you spend on AI? About $0.13 per finished short on OpenAI, plus your ElevenLabs voice plan (from about $22 a month). If you narrate with your own voice, the voice costs nothing. You decide how much you produce.

2. Create your account and choose your plan

  1. Go to shorts.iamnova.org/panel and tap “First time? Create an account”.
  2. Enter your email and a password of at least 10 characters. Tap Create account.
  3. You'll get an email from Shorts Creator Pro. Open it and tap the link to confirm. If you don't see it within 5 minutes, check your Spam or Junk folder.
  4. Sign in with your email and password. At the top you'll see “Welcome! Choose a plan…”: tap View plans.
  5. Choose the 7-day trial ($10) or a plan. Stripe's secure checkout page opens; pay with your card and you'll return to the panel.

Which plan should I choose? Basic: 1 channel whose videos you download and upload to YouTube yourself. An automated plan: 1, 2, 4 or 10 channels that the software publishes on its own. Each channel can have as many languages as you want, and videos are unlimited. You can change plans at any time.

3. Install the software on your computer

The software (the “engine”) makes your videos on your computer and stores them there. You install it once, and after that it starts on its own every time you turn on the computer.

On Windows

  1. In the panel, open the Engine tab and tap “⬇ Windows”. A file of about 180 MB downloads.
  2. Find the downloaded file (Downloads folder), right-click it and choose “Extract All…” → Extract.
  3. Open the folder that was created and double-click “Instalar - Install Shorts Creator Pro”.
  4. If a blue box says “Windows protected your PC”: tap “More info” and then “Run anyway”. This is normal with new programs.
  5. Wait until it says “✓ Engine … installed”. In a few seconds your browser opens by itself.

On Mac

  1. In the panel, open the Engine tab and tap “⬇ Mac”. Which one? Apple menu → “About This Mac”: if it says “Apple M… chip” choose “Mac (Apple chip)”; if it says “Intel processor”, “Mac (Intel)”. Double-click the downloaded file to unzip it.
  2. In the folder, right-click “Instalar - Install Shorts Creator Pro” and choose Open. If it asks “Are you sure you want to open it?”, tap Open.
  3. Wait until it says “✓ Engine … installed”. Your browser opens by itself.
  1. Your browser opened the “Link this engine” page (address http://127.0.0.1:8765/vincular). If it didn't open, type it into the browser on that computer.
  2. Enter the same email and password as your Shorts Creator Pro account and tap Link.
  3. It should say “✓ Engine linked”. In the panel, Engine tab, you'll see “Connected”.

Your password isn't stored on the computer; only a permission to work with your account.

5. Your OpenAI key (scripts and images)

A “key” is like a password that lets the software use your OpenAI account. You paste it only once.

  1. Go to platform.openai.com and create your account (or sign in). It's free.
  2. Add balance: at the top right tap the gear (Settings) → Billing → “Add payment details”, add your card and tap “Add to credit balance”. $10 is enough to start (about 70 shorts).
  3. Create the key: go to platform.openai.com/api-keys → “Create new secret key”. Name: Shorts Creator Pro. Permissions: All. Tap Create.
  4. Tap Copy. The key starts with sk-. It's only shown once: if you lose it, create another one.
  5. On the computer where you installed the software, open http://127.0.0.1:8765/claves, paste it into “OpenAI key” and tap Save and check.
  6. It should show “✓ Works and has balance”. If it says there's no balance, go back to step 2.

6. Your ElevenLabs key (the voice)

ElevenLabs provides the narrator's professional voice. If you'll narrate with your own voice, skip this step.

  1. Go to elevenlabs.io and create your account. To use the voices in YouTube videos you need a paid plan (Starter or higher).
  2. Go to Developers → API Keys → “Create API Key”. Name: Shorts Creator Pro.
  3. In the permissions, enable only: Text to Speech → Access and Voices → Read. Tap Create and copy the key (it starts with sk_).
  4. Paste it at http://127.0.0.1:8765/claves, in “ElevenLabs key”, and tap Save and check. It should show “✓ Works”.
  5. To use a voice from the ElevenLabs library, add it to “My Voices” in ElevenLabs; within a few hours it appears in the panel (or when the software restarts).

7. Your first channel and your first episode

  1. In the panel tap “+ New project”. Choose the language, name your channel, pick the style (template), the length of each short and the narrator. Tap Create project.
  2. Tap “+ New episode”, type the topic (for example “Genesis 1” or “The story of Cleopatra”) and check produce everything.
  3. The software writes the script and creates the images, the voice and the videos. It takes about 15 to 20 minutes per episode; you can watch the progress at the top left.
  4. Review each piece. You can fix the text, change an image or redo the voice.

How much each episode costs and how to lower it

The biggest OpenAI cost is images (about 1 cent each). In the channel settings, “Images per piece” section, the panel shows live how many images and how many dollars each episode will cost with your choices:

Monthly cap: in the Costs tab you choose how much you can spend on AI per month. When it's reached, the engine stops and warns you at the top of the panel; raise or lower it right there, and it resets on the 1st. It's not your OpenAI balance: it's your safety limit.

8. Uploading your videos to YouTube Basic plan

  1. In the episode, tap each short and then “Download this short (MP4)”. For the long video, “Download full video”.
  2. In each piece's YouTube tab you'll find the title, description and tags ready: use the copy buttons.
  3. Go to studio.youtube.com → Create → Upload videos, choose the file, paste the title and description and, if you want, schedule it.
  4. In YouTube Studio, mark that the video has altered or synthetic content (made with AI), as YouTube requires.

9. Your Google connection for automatic publishing Automated plans

With an automated plan, the software publishes to your channel using your own Google connection, in your name. You do this only once (10 to 20 minutes) and it works for all your channels.

First, accept the terms

  1. In the panel, open your channel → Schedule & YouTube. Read the terms, check “I have read and accept these terms” and tap Accept and continue.

Create your connection in Google

Two different accounts, and that's normal: you sign in to the panel with your Shorts Creator Pro email; you do these steps with the Google account that owns your YouTube channel (it can be a different email, for example a Gmail). The “Client ID” is not your email: it's a long code you create here, ending in .apps.googleusercontent.com.

  1. Go to console.cloud.google.com with your channel's Google account. If it's your first time, accept the terms.
  2. New project: name My Shorts Creator → Create. Wait until it appears selected at the top.
  3. Turn on YouTube: open YouTube Data API v3 and tap Enable.
  4. App details: open Google Auth Platform → Get started. App name: My Shorts Creator. Support email: yours. Audience: External. Contact email: yours. Accept and tap Create.
  5. Publish the app: in the Audience menu, tap “Publish app” → Confirm. That way the permission doesn't expire every 7 days. Google verification isn't needed: the app is only for you.
  6. Client ID: in the Clients menu → Create client. Application type: “Desktop app”. Name: Shorts Creator Pro → Create.
  7. Your Client ID (ending in .apps.googleusercontent.com) and your secret (starting with GOCSPX-) appear. Copy them.

Connect your channels

  1. On the software's computer open http://127.0.0.1:8765/youtube, paste the Client ID and the secret and tap Save.
  2. Next to your channel tap “Connect my YouTube channel”. Choose your Google account.
  3. Google will say “Google hasn't verified this app”. That's normal because the app is yours: tap “Advanced” → “Go to My Shorts Creator”.
  4. Choose the YouTube channel, tap Continue and allow both YouTube permissions.
  5. It should say “✓ Channel … connected”. Repeat for each channel (2 minutes each).
  6. In the panel → Schedule & YouTube: check “Publish automatically on this channel”, choose how many shorts per day and the times, and save.
  7. Approve each episode with “Approve for publishing”. The software uploads the videos with their scheduled time.

Important: your connection can upload up to 100 videos a day across all your channels (YouTube's current limit for apps). Verify your channel with your phone at youtube.com/verify: YouTube limits new or unverified channels more.

10. Requesting YouTube's review Automated plans

Until YouTube reviews your connection, the videos the software uploads stay private: you make them public yourself in YouTube Studio (or schedule them there). To have them go out public and scheduled on their own:

  1. Open the YouTube API review form with the same Google account.
  2. Say your project is for publishing videos to your own channel and request the audit. State how many videos you upload per day and on how many channels.
  3. When it asks for the project number, it's on your project's dashboard (“Project number”).
  4. YouTube replies by email within days or weeks. Meanwhile everything works; the videos just stay private.

11. If something doesn't work
